One of the most intriguing moments in The Hour of the Star for me was Madame Carlota's story. Max Von Sydow plays the tortured painter, Johan Borg, with full-bodied angst. Later that night, the Rush Hour star also received a lifetime achievement award at the New York Asian Film Festival, which screened his new film Chinese Zodiac.
